Compensation

$15 - $17 per Hour

5 – 10 Hours per Week

Successfully navigate interpersonal conflict, whether it is team or client/customer related.

Possesses a passion for creative decorating and problem solving.

Team-oriented, able and willing to cover on shorter notice.

Sales experience is a plus.

1 year customer service experience required

Decorating experience preferred

Cashier experience required (able to use strong math skills for use with cash handling)

Can consistently do the following:

Stand, bend, stoop, reach, and grasp objects.

Use fine motor skills to wrap gift baskets and bag/prepare purchased product.

Climb ladders and stairs.

Lift up to 50 pounds.

Proficient in basic computer skills such as powering no equipment, typing, use of pointing devices, email, and other basic application use.

Knowledge and Other Inclusion Criteria

Authorized to work in the U.S.

United States is candidates’ primary residence.

Reside in the Castle Rock or South Denver Metro area.

Reliably commute to work.

Have open availability, including weekends and holidays.

Background check required.

Job Description

Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs.

Thank customers for visiting.

Drive sales by proactively by recommending, selecting, and helping locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.

Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.

Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits.

Make and serve hot coffee and tea to customers.

Make and answer customer phone calls.

Open and close store.

Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices.

Ticket, arrange, and display merchandise to promote sales.

Bag or package purchases and wrap gifts.

Maintain store cleanliness by ensuring products remain staged post customer visits.

Exchange merchandise for customers and accept returns.

Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts and know how to prevent or handle these situations.

Set up and breakdown store signs on the south and north end of street.

Perform shared, store cleaning tasks.
